Nearer to April 20, and I'll be in Seattle anyway, I'm pretty sure.

LOL ... From Australia the best fares are around 2100USD but typically closer to 4000USD. So why not meet half way, say Hawaii or Tahiti?

Agh, you're killing me. How about hosting it in Pittsburgh ;)

It's something I'd really love to go to, but I really don't know if I'll have the money or the time to do so. Although, in the (very) off chance that I'd be out in Redmond for an MS internship for a scholarship over the summer, that might make it a little easier..

For me it depends largely on timing, but I'd like to go if my schedule allows.

Mr. Bright,
I would gladly come if it will be some time during the spring. I hope You would
provide some information about hotels in Seattle or Astoria. I have some ideas
what to present, if You wish I can already start preparing.

Kind regards, and keep with Your excellent work on D and DMDScript (which btw. I could not compile with previous version of DMD, on my GNU/Linux box)

Once we settle on a location, we'll provide hotel information. Probably we'll set up a web page with all the details. If you are ready to start preparing, by all means!

Why not upgrade to the latest DMD?

Great idea. I'd love to attend. I live in San Diego (Oceanside) so I'm sure a Southwest flight would be pretty cheap. I like the suggestion to tack this on to the end of SD West or some other conference. It might make it easier for various companies to pay for the trip.

As a European, I've seen vacation spots, so Astoria doesn't sound too exotic. But Seattle! The home of Frasier the shrink, the Space Needle, Boeing, and Microsoft.

Please, tape the whole event and post it on Google Video for those of us that don't even have hope of attending (As much as we would like it).
