In that context, D is just a codename for some other microsoft programming langauge.  It's not Digital Mars' D.

Which begs the question, does Digital Mars own any D-related trademarks?  I didn't see anything on the web site that indicates D is trademarked.

Ummm.... the name D is taken by an active community of programmers and programming language which ACTUALLY DOES qualify as a replacement for C that Microsoft has nothing to do with.

Sun did the same with their DTrace - the "probes" are written using "the D programming language".

heck, all of those searches reference out D (directly or otherwise) in most
of the links they return.
