Just curious, but what is the eta D offering good support for multicore / multiprocessor / multithreaded / multiwhatever programming. Is this supposed to be a D3 feature? If so, perhaps I should expect an tea of about a year or two? Or perhaps this is expected to be available with D4 with perhaps an eta of, say, 3 to 4 years? Please understand that I'm NOT expecting an answer like "Q3 2008".

I think it's a D3 feature. But we're trying to be careful to not sabotage it in advance by putting some thoughtless feature into D2. I think it'd be a good idea to finalize D2 sometime in the fall.

Wow, a Saturday night (actually Sunday morning) at midnight reply. I'm impressed. Now, should I be impressed favorably or unfavorably? :-)

Seriously, thanks for the reply.

At Digital Mars HQ, we never sleep and never stop working.
