Reading Lars's message regarding the new collection package in Tango... having a look at the new container/collection sources,  still wondering how to translate f.i.  TreeBag. What about arraylist etc...
Will there be a layer ?  Guess not, means Tango will break an existing codebase again.

Next : async IO . Great!

IMO First things First. Tango  IO.Buffer vs Java nio.ByteBuffer  ->
Java's Bytebuffer has (since 1.4) support for  :
Getting, Putting  primitives as "views" that allow you to treat binary data as an array of primitives.

Please drop all the assumptions and ask what you really want either in our forums or via a ticket. None of the above is a reason to be nagged.
