The good Andrey Karpov has finally taken a look to DMD source code with his PVS-Studio, I have given him a first quick answer:

In general he's trying to sell a product, but he's also doing very good work to help both many open source tools and to spread awareness about common C/C++ bugs, so I think he deserves some attention.
