Walter, three years ago, when you last compiled htod, linux was an unfamiliar thing, right? Now that you're regularly roaming OSX, linux &co, would it be a big thing to make a non-windows version, too?

Did you try BCD? http://www.dsource.org/projects/bcd

htod is built from the Digital Mars C compiler. In order to make one for Linux, it would have to support all of gcc's extensions which are used in the header files.
