Hi everyone,

after seeking for symbolic debuggers for D I noticed that there's a newer version of WinDBG

http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/devtools/debugging/installx86.Mspx

I tried this one with the latest (D 2.0.3.7) DMD version and it worked!

http://digitalmars.com/d/2.0/windbg.html says that other versions of WinDBG don't work ...so why don't pack it into the DMD .zip ?

I don't think you can distribute newer versions. The included
version should probably be removed...

So here's the time to nail down a proper debugger support from GDB and make
sure that the DMD windows version also can create GDB compatible debug
information instead of an abandoned format like the Code View which has
virtually no support at all.
CodeView 4
