I came across this for EMACS.

http://emacs.sexy/

Which got me thinking, now we have a new .sexy domain available for the public, who wants to go out and buy dlang.sexy (and talk about how sexy D is :)

Andrei, I'm looking at you.

Regards,
Iain.

"Dudebro startups like yours get shit from angry feminists all the time. Using Vim will put a stop to that. Vim donates money to children living in Uganda. You'll look so accepting and humanitarian just by using Vim, that you won't even have to think about actual social issues. This leaves you free to go back to solving problems that really matter, like building apps that incentivize breaking up protests or apps that crowd-source date conversations.

Don't get me wrong: I know you don't actually care about human rights and social issues. All that matters is that you look like you care."

Reading this I wonder if those links are SFW or if you're joking and you're driving me to some "unsafe" website :)

I think it's satire. Kind of a Ron Burgundy style of humor. That is a quote from the site, which is not an unsafe site as far as I can tell!

It also boasts that vim can do 256 colors :)

Hope not in a sexy way :o). I'm not sure that's a good idea - those are adult domains.

We could get in early on the "give 'em the D" puns...

The entire thing is meant to be satire - I know the guy who made it, he does this stuff all the time.

His response to me telling him I found his site posted here: "I've won." Followed by a complaint about emacs.sexy being meant unironically. (vim.sexy came first)

"bad publicity is better than none" at least we're not as uptight as go.sexy ;-)

A couple of posts back from this, there's one called "anyMembersatisfies' - we could use that as a logo ;=)
