Hi,

I just stubmled over an enhancement in object_.d and object.di Benjamin Thaut described on his page: http://3d.benjamin-thaut.de/?p=25#more-25.

The enhancement looks quite good and handy for me and would be a quick win to have some more runtime type information in the language.
Does it worth to create a pull request?

Kind regards
André

I just saw, there is also dip 8.

As a suggestion, instead of a compiler switch , we could introduce an interface IPersistent. By implementing this interface in your actual class, rtti would be available/generated.

What do You think?

Kind regards
André

Hard to reason without actually looking at the code. Doing PR does no harm if this is not much of a burden for you of course.
