I raised an issue on the dependabot github to add support for dub: https://github.com/dependabot/dependabot-core/issues/3668

I've found it useful for my Java (maven/gradle) projects. Hopefully this is something that gets traction. If this is something other people want please consider making it known on the linked ticket.
