For presentation videos, I don't see any point to hi res. DVD quality is more than good enough.

See thats the great thing about youtube, even if you upload it in high res, the users can select the quality they want, so really there is no reason not to just upload the best and let the user decide.

Slides can get awfully blurry in low res. -- Andrei
