| and yes I did mean OSX there, El Capitan, Apple refuse to let me upgrade to MacOS, or is it now macOS. ;-) So an ancient MBP running El Capitan, and using ldc 1.2.0 via Homebrew because it is not available via MacPorts. I also have dmd via Homebrew and have cleaned out all the bits of D stuff from MacPorts. Trying to run my D-related SCons tests, for one of the tests I get: STDOUT ========================================================================= scons: Reading SConscript files ... scons: done reading SConscript files. scons: Building targets ... ldc2 -I=. -c -relocation-model=pic -of=code.o code.d ldc2 -of=libanswer.dylib -shared -defaultlib=phobos2-ldc code.o scons: building terminated because of errors. STDERR ========================================================================= Undefined symbols for architecture x86_64: "__d_dso_registry", referenced from: _ldc.register_dso in code.o ld: symbol(s) not found for architecture x86_64 clang: error: linker command failed with exit code 1 (use -v to see invocation) Error: /usr/bin/gcc failed with status: 1 scons: *** [libanswer.dylib] Error 1 I have no idea if this is a LDC problem or a Homebrew problem. Basically I'm looking for a bit of guidance. -- Russel. ============================================================================= Dr Russel Winder t: +44 20 7585 2200 voip: sip:russel.winder@ekiga.net 41 Buckmaster Road m: +44 7770 465 077 xmpp: russel@winder.org.uk London SW11 1EN, UK w: www.russel.org.uk skype: russel_winder |
