It's time to start thinking more seriously about that DConf talk you've been thinking about submitting: DConf '24 is tentatively scheduled for September 17 - 20. Symmetry Investments is again our host and primary sponsor. We'll be back for a third time at CodeNode, and we're working again with Brightspace Events to put it all together.
If you'd like to submit a talk but aren't sure you've got anything to talk about, just take a look at our past DConf and DConf Online editions for inspiration. If you're using D for anything right now, then you've almost certainly got content for a DConf talk. I'll quote Ali's words of wisdom once more:

Never spoken at DConf? Never spoken at a conference at all? No problem. We've had a higher than usual number of first-time speakers at the past two DConfs and are always open to more. The DConf audience is always a friendly one.
I plan to launch the website with the submission details in early March, with a deadline in late April. If you have something in mind and you'd like to send it in now, then please go right ahead. Here's the info we need:
- The title
- Duration (we're looking for talks of 30 - 45 minutes)
- The intended audience (Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced/All)
- The kind of presentation (talk/paper/panel)
- The abstract (a brief summary; the "elevator pitch"; this will go on the website if selected)
- The description (as much detail as you want to provide; some speakers have submitted outlines; portions of this may go on the website if selected)
Send your submission in either plain text or Markdown to social@dlang.org. Please, no PDF, word processor formats, etc.
