BEERCONF

Hi everyone!

beerconf is in 2 weeks (June 26-27)! This is our 1 year anniversary (-ish, first online beerconf was on June 28, 2020, and of course, the live beerconfs preceded the online ones), so I hope everyone brings a gift.

Talks?

Something that was asked was whether anyone has any "talks" planned. It sounds like it might be interesting, so I'll suggest that if you want to have a specific talk/presentation, and have the floor for 20 minutes or so, let me know the topic, date/time you would want to speak (UTC please), and I'll announce it (my email is schveiguy@gmail.com, or you can ping me on Discord or Slack). Unlike other random beerconf discussions, I insist that any planned talks must be D related! No need to have a formal presentation, but please be prepared, and screensharing for explanations is encouraged.

Although, it is Dconf tradition to be working on your talk up until the minute before you have to go on.

Just a reminder that Beerconf June (the 1 year anniversary!) is 2 days away.

At this moment, I have had one person contact me with a possible presentation, but nothing firm, so it probably will just happen if it does, at whatever time the presenter decides to do it.

If anyone else has anything they want to reserve time for, you can let me know!
