I was hoping to point a colleague to the article mentioned above. Sadly Dr. Dobbs, where it was originally published, seems to be dead[0]. Archive.org has it but only the first page works. Does anyone know of a complete version floating around somewhere?

Thanks! When I clicked the page numbers on the archive version nothing happened, and I didn't dig any further. Guess I should have tried a little harder ;). Anyways, thanks again.

This was actually a two-parter. I never put either up on my web site, I'll see about that.

(Dr. Dobbs was kind enough to allow me to do that.)
