Now that the D docs are in SVN, is there much chance for some people getting access to them to do things like clean out the last of the HTML tags in favor or DDoc macros? |

if you have read access, you can always do a patch. No general write access needed.
To coordinate the work, you could use the ticket system. So you can prevent ppl from doing the same work simultanous and you can attach the result to the ticket.
Walter can then comment the work or apply the patch and close the ticket.
