June 14, 2001 implib with stdcall DLLs & linking with MSVCRT.DLL | ||||

I created an import library for COMDLG32.DLL, but implib didn't write a stdcall definition of the funcs (ie. there's only _GetOpenFileNameA and not _GetOpenFileNameA@4). So linking fails because the stdcall version is missing. I tried to link C programs with MSVCRT.DLL but it seems not to be compatible with DM's runtime lib - the program aborts with an invalid page fault. IMHO there should be the possibility to link to a dynamic runtime. A simple "Hello world" program is 35K compiled statically while dynamically it's just 3K. |

Posted in reply to Lehel Bernadt | I emailed you the .lib file. Microsoft's runtime library will not work with DM, but the system dll's will.
