Ditto.

I like #2. It reminds of me KDE desktop for some reason. 1 looks nice. 3 looks nice, but I don't like the color. Maybe 3 in red? What is #4?

general technical hint:
Please try to use a vector format for the logo's master - might come in
handy for book covers etc.

#1) Striping the "D programming" part and playing a bit with the colors -
e.g. red Mars with yellow corona(light red/deep red/yellow) instead of
(white/blue/grey) - seems promising.

#2) potential confusion with some KDE logos

#3) seems to be too "weak"

#4) Nice idea, however the background requirement kills this logo.

#5 / #6) Doesn't work for banners.

#7) Defiantly an interesting idea, though it seems to fall apart. Transform the red part a bit and you get a "bio-hazard" sign ;D

#8) Moving the squares - not resizing - onto D's path from #9 might be an improvement. Reminds me somehow of some logo design from Taiwan.

#9) This has too few distinct characteristics. Combining #8 or the top part of #1 with #9 might work.

Amazing!!! Could you please share those logos? I loved them both and the templates also.

Looks great! Template1 is definately better for me, as far as overall page design. Links blend well and then the "D Programming" logo stands out.

Yes, nice indeed. And I could not help myself but to play with the red Mars and moons idea.

This is my quick and dirty result:

Could use a slight gradient for the red. But overall I believe less design, is better design.

I quite like the first one, with two comments:

- making the logo orangish instead of purplish would work better, I think, and would also match the actual planet better

- why "D programming" instead of "D language"?

I like the first one better.

The first template looks very clear and professional. Very good work! The second one is too red and too flat IMHO.
