i see a lot of people post their modified versions onto webspaces.  why not have a bitkeeper or subversion repos?

Well, nobody really has a website set up for that kind of thing. Sourceforge uses CVS, which is pretty much obsoleted by SVN. Theres always DSource, but thats meant for projects written in D... Maybe I can set that up on BlackCrystal so that projects for D have a home like Sourceforge ^_^

DSource is meant for projects written in D and concerning D.  They currently host H2D which is written in C++.  I'm sure Brad would welcome  GDC.
