The DConf13 website is mostly "coming soon". That makes sense for the schedule, speakers, talks, etc., but I'd like to make travel plans.

Venue? Which hotel?

Cost of Registration?

Thanks,

Paul

Bump...

I haven't heard anything official yet but for now, the most likely venue is in Menlo Park, CA. Close to the intersection of 101 and Willow Road.

I hope the cost will be something very close to free :) so that we attract more people.

It should be at least as much as the registration fee used in kickstarter ($375) so as not to piss off those who helped make it happen.

I had forgotten about that. I wish I could still drag a few colleagues to at least some of the sessions.

Pycon 2013 is a competitor, being two months earlier. Some companies will send their employees to check out the web solutions that are written in Python. I think the same people should also go to DConf 2013 to check out D's offerings. (I hope vibe.d will be covered.)

+1 - we talked on IRC about this, and I really hope the time and place will be 100% fixed so I can plan my journey. This would also be my first time in the USA as well...

We will go live today with registration. That includes notification of acceptance and venue information.

Me too... I guess this means we'll go together to get innoculated? :)
