Since some have seen but some have missed it, I temporarily hosted the tour and editor here until the old one is up:

Thanks for doing this.

Like I said on the previous thread, people like Petar they do a great job, but I think (If possible) it should be nice to have some distributed instances, like in invidious where when one fails other instance could be redirected.

True, there should ideally be some balancer/fallback for all instances

is it trivial to fork the editor?

All the source code is open-source, so you're more than welcome to!

@Imperatorn can we temporarily set this as the official thing, since it seems like it will take a little more until the official one works again?

(this should only be done if you have some kind of fixed pricing with azure and are not billed per X amount of resources, since your bill could explode)

I am working on a long-term replacement (so that we won't need to bother Jan and everyone on the team, will be able to assist if needed), that will be hosted in DLF-owned Hetzner Cloud account, but I was hoping we can extend the life the current server just a bit more, so I can have more time set things up in a good way (edited)

It's ok. Until the normal one is up again. I have fixed pricing on it.

If anything I could send you some $$ to help (if needed) through PayPal. Just let me know.

Community services should be hosted by maintainers, not by random people, security, privacy and control are very important

Thanks, that's very generous of you. For now it's fine, but if there's a need I'll reach out 🎂
