I still find it strange how people willingly increase their own attack surface with such software, when even a single missed malware program is a total loss (since you can't know that a malware program missed by such software hasn't replaced your computer's firmware, or started asymmetrically encrypting your private data so you can't access it anymore, or sent out privileged information, etc.).
