October 07, 2006 Build errors on Linux gcc 4.1.2 system | ||||

Hi, I'm trying to build gdc-0.1.9 with the gcc 4.0.3 sources, but with gcc (and g++) 4.1.2 installed as the system compiler. The build fails in configure for libphobos because it is somehow trying to use the system libstdc++ from /usr/lib instead of the one built from the gcc 4.0.3 sources. Can anyone suggest how to fix this configure script appropriately? Also, te build of the D compiler itself succeeds, but with some fairly hideous warning messages while doing so. Is that normal? |
