Please, please, in the zeal to rename/remove things, think of the poor user whose code suddenly and inexplicably fails to compile now. |

Those functions have been deprecated for some time (complete with the deprecated keyword being used). Anyone using them should have had _more_ than ample warning. But I'll go add them in the changelog.
