is there a simple method to get the reference path of a xyz.lnk file ( a
shell link file).

Is it possible without COM and OLE.

ShellExecute isn't able to do the job.

I need this to open pictures residing in different folders without copying the whole file to the folders. I just want to open a link which leads me to the original picture.

Perhaps someone has an idea
