GAH I HATE MAKE!!

Has anyone built libphobse.a and friends with a dmd other than the default? I can use DMD=/path/to/dmd in the first level make and I can do the same plus what the make file adds for the recursive call  but when I start needing to do it yet again for the call into runtime, this is getting anoying.

Also, any idea why building on linux with "make -f posix.mak" needs stuff in std/windows?
