Hi, I'm trying to build some programs with the dtSearch engine (www.dtsearch.com) but get very strange errors around TCHAR stuff. If I'm replacing TCHAR by char the code compiles. So do I miss some compile-time macros? Anyway, maybe someone wants to have a look at the engine too. You can get an evaluation version from them. As the same code runs under Linux too it might be a good DMC test.

Compiling with the switches:
    -e -l
will produce a .lst file with the macros expanded, which can be an
eye-opener sometimes (as to macros being incorrectly set up).

Hi, thanks for the tip. It's really an eye-opener :-) see other posting. Robert
