Would it be possible to include the Microsoft Assembler with DMC? This is an obscure tool that some builds require, e.g. OpenOffice. It is free but hard to extract from MS archives which are geared exclusively for MSVC owners. http://users.easystreet.com/jkirwan/pctools.html Mark |

Posted in reply to Mark Evans | While it may be free to download from Microsoft servers, it is still copyrighted, and so would require a license from Microsoft for anyone else to make it available. -Walter "Mark Evans" <Mark_member@pathlink.com> wrote in message news:at16is$1bek$1@digitaldaemon.com... > Would it be possible to include the Microsoft Assembler with DMC? Posted in reply to Walter | Of course but Microsoft might be happy to supply the distro license (ask!) and if not, you could just include any of dozens of free ML.EXE equivalents that exist out there. Mark |
