I can't seem to find any DM documentation on C++ language specifics.

For example, trying to find the syntax for a switch statement, or a new statement, I have to check it out in a book rather than the DM help files.

I know this pretty basic stuff, but am I just looking in the wrong place ???

The DMC++ documentation doesn't cover that, primarilly because so many excellent C++ books are available written by far better authors than myself <g>. Check out a sampling at www.digitalmars.com/bibliography.html
