From the opend.org website (I am assuming that this group is related to the opend.org website), it is difficult to tell what "d-front-end" and dli are. Could you put a description next to each one (including dig and toy). Suggestions: d-front-end: When combined with gcc, d-front-end compiles D source code dli: <no idea> dig: A set of GUI widgets written for D programs toy2: <no idea> Also, it seems odd that there is a c++ toy2 code on the website. Shouldn't it be in D? Maybe an explaintion of why would help (ie. we plan to convert this to D). Thanks! -Clay |

I don't have access to opend.org, so I can't change anything on it, but since you asked I can tell you that it's geared towards two unfinished projects. 1. A project to create a D front-end for GCC written either in C or C++. 2. dig - a GUI library for Windows The discussion for the front-end mostly occurs on another newsgroup: D.gnu on news.digitalmars.com. > > Suggestions: > d-front-end: When combined with gcc, d-front-end compiles D source code Some information is available at: http://www.digitalmars.com/drn-bin/wwwnews?D.gnu/165 > dli: <no idea> D Linux Interface: a version of D that Burton Radons created. Hasn't been updated in a while. > dig: A set of GUI widgets written for D programs The version of dig at opend.org hasn't been updated for recent versions of D. There is an unofficial package available updated for DMD 0.76: http://jcc_7.tripod.com/d/dig.html (my page) http://earth.prohosting.com/carlos3/dig.htm (Carlos Santander's page) > toy2: <no idea> Some information is available at: http://www.digitalmars.com/drn-bin/wwwnews?D.gnu/125 > > Also, it seems odd that there is a c++ toy2 code on the website.
