For all the leds fan(s) out there here is the announcement for the
leds 00.04.
source and binary for linux are available

Another 'alpha version' for DMD 0.76.

The major change is a better code browser.
The code browser can now be disabled from the preferrences
dialog (restart required). That is important if your program
uses D features not yet supported by the code browser
(an example is the 'invariant' block).

Please read (at least) the first two points on the user manual.

source and binary for linux are available

NOTE THAT LEDS HOME PAGE HAS CHANGED.
Please update your bookmarks to the new leds home page:

--------------
BTW if you followed my posts posts on the imports and have nothing to do can you figure out why I can't split the 3 classes on parseD/Modules.d into 3 separate source files?(rectoric) the thing compiles and links ok but segfaults on execution.

Dumb question from a nescient buffoon.

Does leds work for Win32? If not, are there plans to make it so?

:)

not yet. there are plans.
I'm just waiting for recls to be included with phobos.
It should be available a few hours (48, 72?) after the release
of recls with phobos.

leds will work on any "DUI platform" i.e. any platform supported both by dmd and gtk. for now those are win32 and linux.

When I started leds I created a directory listing module but only
for linux. That's what's missing to have a win32 executable.
I just took a bried look at recls and seems good enough for
leds needs so lets just wait...

(I'm waiting for over a month! recls was promissed for .76...)

remeber that although I'm using it for all my D project leds is still alpha quality.

recls is all ready to go, and has been for over a month, if memory serves. Walter's just been caught up with the template enhancements, and has been stymied by recls needing some "modern" C++ facilities which he didn't have setup on his Linux box. :)

I'm just as keen as you are for you to get it.

Walter, could I send Ant the pre-release stuff, and he could work with that for the time being? I understand you could have objections I've not thought of.

Walter and I are working on it right this minute (his email arrived in the same synch as my post on the subject went out!), and since, in my experience, he normally only works on a release just before it happens, we could be ready for D-recls any minute. Well, as soon as we've placated the compiler, anyway ;)

Cheers

Christmas Bob

Nope. I started work on one. I'll have a root around for it, and maybe you can take it over, if you want, or just do a better one. ;)

there are more restrictions on the platform:
Linux i386 and Scintilla also must be available...
