Zipping will have very little impact on the size of a jpg file. The best bet is to reduce quality. At 70% it is very difficult to tell the difference.

Okay... but its a tossed-together pitiful excuse for a POV script. Rendered with POV-Ray for Windows 3.5, and touched-up with GIMP 2.

Shouldn't it have the URL on, so people can find what's being advertised?

I can't download attachments from the web interface (does anyone else have a problem doing that?). Fortunately, I can access attachments from Thunderbird.

I've uploaded some of the images to the D Lab Yahoo! group (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/d_lab/) in files/other. You have to sign in to access the file section, but membership is free.

Just had a look in the files section, what is a

You are right. I established my wish not because of space considerations, but of MIME. My standard news reader is able to handle zip's correctly, but not png's. Other users may have the same problem.

So long!

Scalable Vector Graphics, http://www.w3.org/TR/SVG/

In this case, the file was created with Sodipodi (http://www.sodipodi.com/) and has special Sodipodi info, too. The .jpg version is on the home page and in the Photos section.
