No actually, I didn't.  Weird site.  Nothing related to music: its an Apache Tomcat default page, like somebody's in the process of setting up their webpage.

My reference to D popularity was because in the past whenever this newsgroup got spammed, we said "it must mean D is getting more popular." ;-).

i think its a sign that we ditch this newsgroup and get a proper forum

And see the forum get spammed? We can also requiere sort-of registration for this newsgroup if it is what you want!

And *no* web intreface to a forum can be better than viewing a newsgroup in a special newsgroup program or just in a half-decent e-mail client!

As far as i can see, your message has been sent off the NG's Web Interface. Please do yourself and us a favor, and try Mozilla Firebird, and then we'll see whether you'll want to have any forum after that.
