Can I use D Language for my closed-source project without any
restriction
(license payment etc.)?

i havent read the license or anything but i imagine that yes you can. Bjarne Stroustroup doesnt own C++ - he just gets money from his books etc.

True, but I would guess he was talking about 'DMD' and not 'D'.
