Hi,

I ran into the following error:
$ dmc -HD../../src/vcf/FoundationKit/ -g -DWIN32 -D_DEBUG -I ../../src  -Ar -Ae
-c ../../src/vcf/FoundationKit/FoundationKit.cpp -o./FoundationKit/Debug/Found
ationKit.obj
Internal error: eh 684
--- errorlevel 1

I tried to make a listing to see the size:
$ dmc -HD../../src/vcf/FoundationKit/ -g -DWIN32 -D_DEBUG -I ../../src  -Ar -Ae
-c ../../src/vcf/FoundationKit/FoundationKit.cpp -e -lFoundationKit.lst
Internal error: eh 684
--- errorlevel 1

running wc on the file reports:

$ wc -l FoundationKit.lst
101912 FoundationKit.lst

So is there any way to handle this? I looked in the compiler options for a way to increase the available compiler memory but didn't see anything. MS VC6 (or better) has an option /Zm<percent increase> to increase the amount of mem for the compiler.

Thanks !

Jim Crafton

The only way to deal with such errors is to follow the procedure outlined at www.digitalmars.com/bugs.html and www.digitalmars.com/faq.html#error
