The old D newsgroup messages are now archived in html at www.digitalmars.com/d/archives/index.html. Hopefully, this means that google will index it and at last it will be searchable. There's a gold mine of good stuff there.

Hooray!

Walter, the archive webpages did the trick. Google has finally indexed the original D newsgroup (news://news.digitalmars.com/D)!

It's probably easiest to use through the custom search page:
http://www.digitalmars.com/advancedsearch.html

Now about those newer newsgroups... ;)

Ah yes, it is working now. The big surge in hits on those pages was a tipoff <g>.
