Here it is, and I'm not ready yet :-(

I want to fix a few more problems first.

Then fix them! I don't think anyone's about to put the proverbial shotgun to you just yet. I'm ready and willing to wait out the rest of the month if need well be. (Although a teaser release or two might be a good idea... sort of a Release Candidate perhaps.)

You might also want to check if your server can cope with a 1.0 release. I have the impression that it gets a bit shaky as D's popularity increases:

'Programming Community Index' at http://www.tiobe.com/tpci.htm

Rank 14 in Dec 2006 - congrats

(sorry, I couldn't keep a straight face any longer.)

I to would rather see the important issues as a priority rather than an arbitrary deadline.

D1.0 _RC1_ would be fine by me. But, some sort of, "the features you see are (perdy' much) the features you'll get" from W would be nice even if he doesn't say the fine details aren't going to change.

No worries. I'd rather have a spec everyone was happy with than meet an arbitrary ship date.
