For me it's definitely 3 (http://imgur.com/GX0HUFI). It's a nice idea to include an icon of the city it's in. Well done!

The design with the German flag (or any flag) doesn't appeal to me. If DConf is in the USA, you don't put the star spangled banner on the logo either.
