Hi, I understood that it's possible to use WinDBG with DMC generated files. How can I get WinDBG to recognize the source code? I only get the ASM output. Thanks Robert |

Compile with -g. But you need the windbg.exe that comes with DMC++.

(It's expensive, time consuming, and hard to see the benefit to try keep up with Microsoft's ever-changing and undocumented debug formats.) |

Did MS give you source-access to it? -- Robert M. Münch Management & IT Freelancer http://www.robertmuench.de |

Posted in reply to Walter Bright | What is the best source of documentation for the DMC compatable version of the debugger. I would like to implement it in the latest Eclipse/CDT to work the way it does in the old Symantec IDDE but I can't find complete docs. Any advice appreciated. |

No, I don't have source to it. It's just an older version of it.
