I cannot reproduce here, but I had to guess the rest of your code (just wrapped it into a function). Can you provide a full example?

I suspect that there might some mix of compiler versions including the definition of `string` from different versions or installations. Do you have multiple projects loaded into the solution that use different configurations?

Well, my solution has more than 15 projects, so I probably have one project pushing some info from LDC while other push from DMD
