Unless Vladimir possibly gives us access to dlang's wiki to post the documentation content there. I've opened up a new wiki page for people to contribute to.

http://wiki.gdcproject.org

Thanks
Iain.

Yeah, why don't we merge GDC docs onto the "official" wiki.dlang.org wiki? It will make info on GDC easier to find.

All you need to do is to signup for an account and you have full edit rights.

Hang on, I'm confused. I thought the plan was to move to Ddoc hosted on GitHub?

gdcproject.org/wiki is still active and linked to from the gdcproject.org home page.

Oh, and -- might be worth tweaking the MediaWiki settings so you don't get the index.php as part of the URL for the new wiki.

I still don't know what the plans are... I just don't have time to set anything in stone at the moment.

I think migrating to wiki.dlang.org like ldc did is a good idea. It might bring some new contributors to the gdc wiki.

Well, FWIW I think a wiki is a better option, it's just much easier to edit than Ddoc.

I moved the main page contents to
http://wiki.dlang.org/GDC

So should we use wiki.dlang.org as our main wiki?

I think that's a good idea. Consolidating everything in the main wiki will make information easier for newbies to find, and will keep everything in one place for reference. I vote for it.

Why there is no GDC releases? It prevents many from using GDC.
