Hello everyone,

We're very excited to announce the Call for Submissions for DConf 2013. It's barebones right now but it has all of the information needed to get everyone started!

http://dconf.org

Share away!

We have firm dates, and Facebook generously offered to host the conference at headquarters in Menlo Park, CA.

Looking forward to getting great talk proposals from the community.

Thanks,

Andrei

"e.g. by asking their employees to cover travel costs"
Don't you mean "employers"?

"I'm going to a conference, seeing as I'm your boss you'll all be paying for my flight!"
