Previously, Razvan and Dennis were using it as a place to dump things we'd like to see done, and some projects they were actively working on. Now, the whole DLF team will be using it to track progress on our current high-level goals. Some of the closed projects may be reopened again later. We just need to get everything set up like we want it. I'll post an announcement about it next week.
I should add, we've got a base set of projects in there right now, but they're marked private until we're all familiar with the interface and ready to make GH Projects part of our regular workflow (that's a huge change for most of us and will take some getting used to). We'll make everything publicly readable around the time I make the announcement.
They're a lot easier to manage when you have issues enabled globally (e.g. managing the day to day stuff in GitHub projects is a pain, but you can break them up into issues), which will hopefully be true sooner rather than later.
