I don't want to take your joy, but tiobe has its mood swings: Groovy was within the top 20 last year, see http://glaforge.appspot.com/article/groovy-enters-top-20-of-the-tiobe-language-index Now it is somewhere below the top 40. I think it was below the top 50 at the beginning of the year.
