Black and white are usually the cheapest t-shirts. I think white is even cheaper. Keep in mind that the logo has to look cool on black as well, so either it can be converted to white on black, or the red looks good on black too (maybe a brighter / more intense kind of red cf. heavy metal t-shirts :-).

Ah, and SVG would be the best choice. But Walter would have to make sure which format the printers accept. You'd be surprised how backward / ignorant some shops are.

Posted in reply to Chris | Assuming this is for the conference, last year's were dark gray shirts from American Apparel (so kinda thin and a tiny bit stretchy). So I suspect the printer used was pretty decent. |

Well, I have prepared 10 different designs, and also put 4 of them on T-shirts to be seen. Wiki requires registration etc. So, I have uploaded them to Neffie Publink. They can be found and download from following link. http://publink.neffie.com/subject/GnzYk3RAbbCNkWRPdGyGmeE1ceaFPc5xJ1m5l1LZr6vcQtbchtayo75Iawm1AG0t All of them are my designs and vector based. So, they can be updated easily. If anyone can upload them to Wiki, that will be really great. I really do not have time at the moment. |

If you don't want your work to be forgotten in a week, you should upload them to the wiki.

AI, PSD, PDF, PNG, SVG, JPG. I can generate any of them. No problem at all.
I will try to upload them wiki as soon as possible.
I don't know the timing until when the design should be chosen, et cetera. I am sure people has lots of ideas as well. So, we can do changes on them. I completed those designs in less than 2 hours. So, they are quick and dirty designs.
