Well, this newsgroups of course is for Digital Mars C++ and MFC, but if
you have any 'coding' questions with regards to MFC you can ask them
here.
May be some day you will want to change to Digital Mars C++

If you do change to DM, you can buy "Mastering MFC for Windows 95 using Symantec C++" by Richard O. Parker, Thompson Computer Press.

Boy! Did I forget about that one!
I used to have in on the shelf too!
Worse... I used to know Rich Parker before he disappeared...

Do you believe this book (which seems out of print as seen from this corner of the world) could have the copyrights reclaimed and new edition adapted to DM written as an e-book?

I have no idea...
The CD-ROM should come with an Examples or Samples directory which also should
contain examples/tutorials for MFC...

I havent bought the CD-ROM yet.

I have been trying to determine if DMC
is the compiler that I want to use before
purchasing the CD-ROM.

Thanks anyway.

Andrew:

I just joined this newsgroup today and am "reading the mail". Thanks for
mention of my book, but I
have to say that it is hard to find because ITCP decided not to reprint
it...and dropped the title.
I'm looking now to find a way to post the book's contents on the DigitalMars
site.

A few copies are available from various booksellers, but I can't tell you
which ones. Maybe
Amazon.com can find one for the gentleman.
