What is the current status of XMLSTL? Is some sort of alpha or beta release available?

Good question.

The short answer is that nothing's changed in it for a couple of years.

This is because I was intending to use its development as an exemplar for my new book, Breaking Up The Monolith (http://breakingupthemonolith.com/).

Alas, the book and the library have both been held up for most of the last two years - I've been the busiest of my life, and it's
starting to get on my nerves.

I am hoping to make big headway with both over the holiday season, and should have some news on both early Jan
