February 12, 2003 [Q] Access to "initial" values in contracts? | ||||

Hi, I've been doing a bit of reading on contracts (btw, Walter, a couple of the links at the end of the "Contracts" section of the D docs seem to be broken) and it appears that Eiffel and Sather both allow the programmer to access the "initial" values of variables, i.e. their values before entry into a routine. Is this sort of caching now done, or planned for D? Thanks, Rob |

Is this sort of caching now done, or planned for D? I've thought about it, I think it's a better way to go, but I haven't implemented it yet. |
