Hi,

I tried to use a resource file describing a dialog box. But it seems i couldn't exactly tell the compiler what i was aiming to do. Am i forgetting to use some parameters while compiling the code or is it completely something else?

for example, in my .rc file compiler doesn't like the line above:

IDD_MYMENU MENU

which is the first line in the .rc file.

It complains that there's no "," ";" or "=" between IDD_MYMENU and MENU.

How can i overcome this?

Thanks in advance.

Hi!
If your .RC is correct, then you've found the same compiler bug (?)
as me. Try placing "//}" somewhere around the "bad" line like this:

//}
IDD_MYMENU MENU

For me, this appears in a .C, around dialog procedures.
Since I place the line
//}
just above the proc. header, it works fine.
Good Luck!
