I've never seen lightening and snow together! I just had to that this is really cool! We never get too much snow down here in Bournemouth and definately none that stays but at the moment it's really coming down.

Here in Sydney we've been getting amazing (summer) thunderstorms recently.

I'd never experienced anything like it before I moved to Australia. They're so much louder than in England.

Alas, there've been several people killed, including a batsman on a cricket field.

Yea did you see the bits and peices of
the bat scattered? Wow he really got zapped.
It also knocked the umpire down to
the ground apparently.

I've always nursed these crazy notions of being hit by lightning, just to see what it feels like.

Those pictures pretty much killed that particular ambition!
